We seek businesses predominantly in growth markets and technology-enabled services and where management demonstrate a commitment and enthusiasm that share similar characteristics, such as: 
 
high levels of recurring or contracted revenues;
 
a product or service that is business critical; 
 
low customer concentration; 
 
high customer loyalty and low sensitivity to market cycles; and 
 
businesses providing a platform for merger and acquisition (‘M&A’) opportunities.
 
We believe that these companies have the potential for significant performance improvement.
 
Following each engagement, our Team works with management
to focus on a set of operational levers that are key to performance in a AQC  ‘sweet spot’ business model:

For each of these levers, the team has codified the AQC experience and best-practices into set ‘plays’ that are deployed together with management.
 
The nature of support provided by AQC can take a variety of forms. 
 
At a Board level, we might appoint a member of the team as a non-executive director responsible for applying active, results-oriented corporate governance.
 
Beyond the boardroom, members of our team provide either direct support through hands-on best-practice project work, or collaborate with management teams to draw on expertise from our proprietary network of specialists and Operating Partners, who each bring a specific, operational specialism to company situations.
